Guys im with BT and have been for ages. However, every month they claim that we have gone over our download limit of 10gig. And subsequently they charge us for this.

We are notified that we are going over the limit just 3-5 days into the new month!

I dont download films, music, games etc - i ONLY use online gmaing such as COD, WoW etc. Even then its only 4 hours a day max.

So, firstly, is it even physically possible to download 10gigs of info THAT quickly from online gaming and secondly, is there a good way of making sure someone isnt stealing our BB connection?

cheers

do i change the wep key from the router settings? like when i type in 192.168.1.1 and directly access the router - do i change it from in there?

well im sticking with 128Bit WEP at the mo - nobody will guess the number and the admin password has been changed too so that will help also.

Can anyone reccomend me a good net monitoring tool? Ive used 'Netmeter' in the past but if there is a better one then im all ears. Cheers

Ok im now using WPA2, ive changed all admin passwords, router passwords and i now need a good monitoring tool - any help much appreciated.
