Had you the steamguard service activated, where any change of details needs a valid email response from you?
If not, then do it.
For everyone else reading, do the same thing, turn it on, active the backup.
Its an extra layer of security.
surely you would need to enter a verification code which would have gone to your email address when changing the email address, just like when u need to change the passwordSteamguard is/was enabled yeah, always have.
I cannot log onto my account, I had an emailed yesterday afternoon saying my contact email address had been changed, tried to log onto my account but couldnt. Tried to retrieve my password but verification code will not come through.
Still no response from Steam.
only thing I can think of is that person had access to your email accountWell thats what i thought.....
