Steam Achievements

How the hell do you view your steam achievements for any game, let alone a certain one?

Been playing around in my steam control panel, my profile etc., to no success. Even tried googling how to do it, with an equal lack of luck. Is this because its so blindingly obviously and Im just being an idiot, or?

You can access them in the a game menu if that's any good?

Not as good, but how do you do that also?
Thanks Viper.. While that works, I still for the life of me can't find the link on the web page to arrive at that point.. What a terribly designed site.

EDIT: Just found it. And it was obvious. Sigh.

Community tab, scroll down to game stats on the right, view all games, scroll to the desired game and click the view stats link, then it's the personal achievements tab.

It's a little drawn out.
