For some reason, no one on my friends list can comment on any status posts I make. For me the add comment/reply box is under the status post. For people on my friends list, it's just not there, all they can do is rate up.
They can comment fine on screenshots and I can comment on other peoples status posts. Does any one know why? Is there a setting somewhere that is preventing it or is steam just bugged? It doesn't matter if I tag the status with a game or not.
I asked on the steam community forums, but got no reply. Hoping it's some sort of setting I've overlooked.

Never mind. Just after posting I sorted the issue. Comments were set to only me, I thought that was just for my profile page. Can a mod delete this please
