Steam and 3rd party Key seller's

I have just had a look on the steam store in my browser for BF Jedi Fallen Order and it has a purchase option via CDkeys. If you choose that option it sends you to the CDkeys store for you to purchase an origin activated key... However this option is not available via the client and the price difference is £15.....

How long has Steam been having 3rd Party Keys sellers as an option on it's storefront? and does this legitimise CDKeys?

Very surprised at this..

EDIT:
Ok this has been inserted onto the steam storefront Via the CDKeys google extension so nothing to do with Steam whatsoever LOL
