Steam and crysis 2

Hi there I purchased crysis 2 off my steam account (bad mistake as it takes forever to download) however I have recently purchased a new GTX590 and want to do a fresh install of windows. I want to try and backup my "save game" file so i dont loose my progress on the game but cant find it anywhere on my system, Ive looked for crysis 2, EA, Steam Nothing! anybody know where it is?

My Computer > C Drive > Program files > save the steam file.

Do both and save a load of time. Just copy/paste the steam apps folder iirc, and the Saved Games folder too

Hi there , there is no steam folder to save? ive looked everywhere for the files. i can only play the game by going to steam app and selecing play. theres no short cuts or anything?

No, Im baffled Im usually quite good at finding files. perhaps its hidden and windows search cant see it? there is no steam folder in prog files or prog files x86. no ea files or crysis 2 in either? mad!

Doesn't Crysis 2 use Steam Cloud to store saved games and profiles?

Or did you install Steam in a non standard location?

haha ive found it. when I installed Modern warefare 2 it auto installed Steam
Ive just been to the MW2 folder and its right there lol with crysis 2 also. thanks your help :-)

wonder why crysis is in the mw2 folder though?
