Hi
I have bought a genuine copy of Half Life (holiday collection 2006) with original key card and case on eBay from a reputable seller.
When I tried to install (and you have to do it through Steam) I got a duplicate key message (i.e. the key has been used before).
From Steam, I found out that one of the things required to reset a key is:
"A scan or digital photo of your retail purchase receipt (game must have been purchased within the last 90 days - we do not accept receipts from online auction websites or used software vendors)"
It is disappointing that this game is so restrictive - Steam seem to not want anyone to sell this second hand!
In my experience of PC games (actually any game) this has not been the case!
Does anyone have any ideas?
