I can't see if this has been asked before, but I'm surprised if it hasn't... or maybe the answer is just very obvious! Anyway, with these Splinter Cell and Batman free game codes I've just got with my new GTX 670, can I add these games to Steam and use just as any other game I have on my Steam account? These games are obviously on Steam, so aren't non-Steam games, but the card tells me to download from the GeForce website. Will I be able to integrate these games into Steam after I download?

Depends.

You may have to redeem the codes you were given via the Nvidia website to get your Steam codes.

Why not try redeeming the codes you have via Steam anyway? If they work then fine, if not you won't invalidate them by trying.

The codes don't work via the Steam 'Activate a product on Steam' option. You can't 'purchase' games with a code, so it seems you must download via the GeForce link given on the card. BOTH these games are Steam games though, so I was wondering once I download them, can I integrate them in to Steam, play against Steam friends who also have them, re-download etc.? Basically all the things I can normally do with my Steam games. Surely someone has done this (or tried to)?

Doubtful for the uPlay game, whilst available on Steam if it's not Steamworks then purchasing outside of Steam means you can only add it in as a shortcut.

Splinter cell needs to be redeemed through Nvidia web site then add the code they give you to Uplay.

Batman the same apart from using Steam instead of Uplay.

That's how i got both my games.
