Steam: ATI Drivers

Hi all,

I'm not sure whether this has been around for ages, because i've only just changed from NVidia to ATI, or whether it's new, but when I was on Steam yesterday, a box came up asking if I wanted Steam to keep my ATI drivers up to date for me just like my other games. Does anyone know anything about this or have an opinion?

Yeah Steam can now check for ATI updates and install them....personally not for me

I use the option in Steam and haven't had any problems. At least you'll know when there are new drivers available, esp if you're a bit out of the loop on the forums/software news and aren't aware of new driver releases.

Anyone had any negative experience with steam updating your drivers?

Ohhh, I didn't know about this. Very useful for me, I haven't updated my drivers for months and months.
