Steam Authenticator Question

Hi,

I added a Steam authenticator to my account a few weeks ago to avoid the 3 day hold for trading however it is driving me up the wall as every time I boot my PC I have to use the Auth code to log into Steam.

Is there any way to set my PC as some sort of remembered safe device where I can log in without having to use the authenticator?!

Hmm that's a little odd as I don't need to log back in.

When I shut my machine down I don't log out, maybe you are logging out?

Nope when I'm done I just Start > Shut Down, I don't even close any open windows :/

Mine used to do it, I got around it by switching the auth off and back on again, it's not done it since
