So lately I have begun experimenting with cooking more steamed meals, partly to avoid cooking oils and partly to expand my culinary skills. My current fascination is cooking rice in the steamer water so that it absorbs the run off flavours from whatever else I am cooking. So far I've done Thai green fish rice, and balti curried turkey rice.
Anybody got any killer steamer cooking techniques they would like to share?
