STEAM COD: MW2 DOWN???

I cant connect at all to mw2.

I got the "steam was unable to sync your files for call of duty: modern warfare 2 with the steam cloud" error and verifying the integrity of my files doesnt seem to work.

I can now load the game only to be met with "cannot connect to Steam"

It appears im not the only one. Wonder whats going on??

I don't understand why your first reaction is to create a new thread on this? Surely logic would dictate that you check the, already huge, official Modern Warfare 2 thread?

Im sorry im a married mid 30's guy with children who doesnt game as much as I used to and also im not a friggin logical vulcan so No! im sorry I didnt check the friggin official thread.
Are you now gonna tell me that all conversations have to take place in there?. Do I face a ban if I mention the flaming game outwith the "Offficial" thread.
