Steam dead?

Am trying to connect to Steam but it keeps rejecting my connection.. Can't even get on steampowered.com either!

Have got the guy in work to test it too and he can't get on either.. Am gutted, wanted to shoot some n00bs to release my anger at dealing with them all day in work! Will have to find something else to do instead..

Dead here in scotland (Virgin Cable) : logged out trying to get in. Maybe there authentication servers have gone down?

Wont connect for me, it asks for my login then it says, 'Having trouble connecting with Steam Servers.'

Try deleting clientregistry.blob. Seems to fix most things steam related.
