** Steam Deal: Rockstar Collection containing entire GTA series + more for £29.99! **

IIRC the first GTA has never worked properly on modern hardware. The game runs too quickly without the frame rate limiter on and is very choppy with it on. I don't think GTA 2 ran all that well either although I could be wrong.

GTA 2 seems to run fine from the quick test i had :).

Yeah, GTA has always been weird with XP upwards, like you say goes from playing way too fast, to being choppy as ****, then there's the random colors too.

But occasionally it will randomly work (atleast it has on Vista and XP for me), and the menus (it BSODs after i choose a level to play) seem to look fine, which means the game would have probably ran perfectly had it not been for the BSOD problem :(.

I was about to click buy for the PS3 version of Episodes from LC, when I saw the steam sale. Hmmm... £21.99 for one game or £29.99 for a crapload of decent games. Needless to say, vice city is installing as I type. :)

Awesome, I was gonna wait until GTA IV + EFLC get bundled in one pack. This is more than worth it for me.

Got the other GTA games on PS/2 and Max Payne's on Disc but might as well get this pack anyway!

PS: This will kill my internet (1.75Mbps)
