wont connect to steam servers for me, i have internet though, bit miffed

We'll be updating some of the Steam servers Tuesday March 6th, 2012 around 16:00 PST (GMT-0700). Chat, game lobbies, and the community web site will be affected. Content downloads and game play should not be affected.
