Yep. Just tried to start Elite Dangerous and unable to connect.

ED is one game you should be able to start regardless of Steam status, run it from the launcher in the install directory. I have just done this. Apparently though even normal Steam Offline mode is borked at the mo, but ED exists outside of this it seams.

I wish more games included DRM free copies on Steam. Even without Steam running, I can still load up and play CrossCode. But this gives me a good oppotunity to try and complete Splinter Cell: Blacklist.

Yep, Steam is down. But I'm baffled as my girlfriend is sitting not 5 feet from me and Steam seems to be working just fine for her. She just started a game of 7 days to die and is happily playing while she waits for me to join
