Steam Error

Hi guys,

I keep getting this "Internal Driver Error in IDirect3DDevice9:

resent()" error whenever am about to join a server during the loading screen. Installing the DirectX3D Runtime gets rid of it sometimes..

Any ideas?

Tis really annoying.

ahh i used to have this, cannot remember for the life of me how i fixed this.

In the command line options set the dx level to -dxlevel 81

You get to this by right clicking the game, properties and then set lauch options and put in -dxlevel 81

If it stops then its something wrong with Dxlevel 9 which i think i fixed by re-installing dx 9

Tried deleting ClientRegistry.blob in Program Files\valve\steam its fixed any steam errors ive had in the past.
