Steam Error?

"Error verifying STEAM UserID ticket"

Says this almost every server I connect too. Wasn't doing this last night!! :mad:

Let me guess, some twit has somehow got the same serial code?

Try

1. Make sure you remember you're password. Username was saved for me.
2. Open STEAM
3. Select File
4. Select change user
5. A message will come up saying this will log you out of STEAM.
6. Click OK
7. Enter correct details
8. Log in.

Hold off on doing anything drastic and time consuming as i read a thread about server side problems last night.
It may be a problem there end, worth fishing about on steam forums etc before you go the re instal route.

Some servers are fine, most don't like me at the moment though...

I had this problem earlier done the above and it was all sorted

Just quit Steam, delete the ClientRegistry.blob file from the Steam directory, re-load Steam and log back in.. Problem should be sorted.

And if that doesn't work, is logged onto your account on another PC anywhere?
