Steam fps overlay and afterburner question.

Hello. Have an question. If i have opened afterburner ( stock,no oc settings ) and riva tuner and turn on FPS overlay in steam and restart steam it will not mess with my afterburner oc settings?
I have 2080 Ti Aorus Xtreme ( stock ).
 
Shouldn't do, but if you're using Afterburner why not use its FPS counter?
