So my step daughter will be hitting 10 next month & due Home learning we have built a computer together from ground up using Stuff Offices were disposing of.

we started with linux Mint, she loved that, but now gave her windows and Steam to try out some cool games.

Pc specs
Base System HP Z420
Quad Core Xeon 3.2Ghz
4GB ram (512GB max) believe 8 dimms slots. (i want to get her an upgrade at some point but working very well thus far
EVGA SC 1060 6GB (i had this spare in the cupboard
120GB SSD
3TB WD HDD

What games Would you suggest for a girl of 10?
so far i bought her Roller Coaster tycoon 2 as she really want planet coaster & i thought i would dip her toe so to speak, into good money management & multi-tasking skill.

Plus Its a Classic!

My 10 year old son plays Minecraft and Roblox with some of the girls in his class. He also plays planet coaster, cities skyline, goat simulator (when friends used to be allowed over!)

My daughter, 7, plays minecraft, roblox, and pokemon (on switch).

They all, at that age, seem to prefer that sort of sandbox style game to the more traditional type that you or I might have played. My son did put some time in to FTL, Sonic Racing, Gauntlet when he played pc more, though (favours Xbone, Switch currently)
yeh she plays roblox, but trying to get her away from Roblox to somthing that

1 develops her skills better
2. somthing thats actaully a good game
