Steam & GFWL

Okay just a simple question, I've made a new Gamer Profile / Gamertag on GFWL and I want to play some of my Steam games on it, however when I launch the games and then sign in with my new Gamertag it's telling me that the CD Key for the game is already registered to another Gamer profile and to use a valid key. They are indeed assigned to another profile, my old one which I also used for the Xbox 360, which I no longer intend to use.

Is there a way around this so that I can use the games on my new Gamertag? I can't save the games or play online without GFWL. -_-

The games are tied to your GFWL account the same as your steam games are tied to your Steam account.

You have two options. Use your old GFWL profile, or rebuy the games.

i had this problem in the past with one game, before i found out about this so havnt ptu any others on my old xboxlive account, which i sold with my xbox.
microsoft will not help you either, i couldnt even find anyone who understood my problem!

Isn't selling of live accounts illegal? Or at least MS don't allow it. So no wonder they didnt help
