Steam gift in error?

Hey guys

My mate asked me to steam gift him a game on the sale today, as he wont have access to a PC till after 6pm..

However I gifted him 2 games as I had one in my basket from a previous day. Is there any way to cancel the gift/get a refund?

If not, can he refuse the game gift? If he refuses what happens to the game?

I you can resend the gift to someone else in the "Gifts and Guest Passes" screen.

And then I believe (not tested myself) you can email the gift to yourself and reclaim it on the account that bought it.

Unfortunately I don't think you can get a refund as usual with Steam. If that's what you want to do, flogging the gift in the MM might be worth it.

the only way to know if u can get a refund is by asking steam.

If you do get a refund from Steam they are likely to say you can only have the whole transaction refunded and not individual games.

Also he could give you the gift link which you could then use to get the games, if you sent it via email.
