Hi all,

Has anyone on here used Steam to buy a christmas presie for a loved one before?

Basically, I dont want him to be able to play the game straight away, I would rather he waits until xmas day. So when filling in the details, if I was to use my own email address and then print it and give it to him (no, not like that! shesh!) would that work?

Any info on buying via the platform as a gift would be great

How can I deliver the gift at a later date?
If you are interested in purchasing a subscription for someone as a gift but do not want it delivered until a later date, please purchase the game as a gift sent to your own email address. As long as you do not redeem it, you will have a guest pass for this subscription on your account that can be resent at anytime.
