STEAM GTA IV PROBLEM

Sorry about the influx of steam threads however i keep getting this same problem. I click GTA IV and click play on steam, it pretends to load up but doesnt even go on any intro screen or nothingit just says the following message:

Grand Theft Auto IV Has Stopped Working

A Problem caused the program to stop working correctly. etc etc..... the white error message basically, why is this? im logged in rockstar games social club, game just finished updating, wats going on :S.

I got the same problem, its since the last update. Rollback to the previous version and untick "keep this game updated" in steam, its the only way I've seen people actually resolve the issue.

Dunno exactly, but he may have made a **** of himself in his mental Cousin's thread in motors.
