Steam help

Hi guys, just been selling off some of my old games and i got rid of half-life 2. I was selling them on eBay, the guy that brought this off me has tried installing it but it is saying that it is registered with me, is there anyway he can apply for a new account or anything with it??

EDIT: But you could sell him your steam account.

he can take pics of the cd key, box, disc etc send them to steam and they will transfer the licence. Not sure if it cost a couple of quid or not. Email them and ask.

You can either give him your Steam account details, or get him to contact Valve and transfer Half-Life 2 to a new account for him, which could take a while.

Giving him your accounts details would be best I reckon.

Make sure you change the password to something pretty standard (whatever that means lol), especially if it's a password you use for everything else..
