***** NEW PROBLEM, POST 6*****

Ive just bought the GTA series and opened it up to the download page (choose which you want to download.

Now my issue is, its 41GB and will take forever and a day to complete, so Im going to move my rig to my nans.

Now my issue is, now that Ive opened it, can I close steam/ turn off my computer and itll still be there tomorrow for download? or do I have to download it now because Ive accepted and all that?

Cheers :)

EDIT: Also, Im never going to own a mac, so can I just ignore the mac versions to reduce the download size and hopefully time?

u can resume downloads whenever you like, even if you decide to delete the game it will still be available to download any other time you like.
41gb ??? you sure about that

damn so it is about that size

No you can re-download any games you have bought anytime, you will be fine to take the pc to your nans and download it.

I just closed it down (to move the computer) and I cant find it any more....is there a special folder for it?

Yeah its 41056MB which is near as makes no difference 41GB. I can remove the MAC versions and it drops to ~39GB.
Sadly Im limited to 40GB downloads up here.....such a pain :p

Uh oh.....I can no longer download it because the code has been redeemed.....hopefully someone knows what to do here....Im kind of boned otherwise.

EDIT: Found them in my games folder, but I cant access them to download? I click them and nothing happens, just takes me to the steam store.

EDIT 2: Found it :).....steam doesnt exactly make it easy, you can to go into the single game (because I bought a pack it doesnt work?) and click "play now", then it prompts you with the download.

Just installed GTA 1 and 2 (because theyre the smallest), but I cant seem to play them. I have the desktop icon and it says "Play" in steam, but when I click on either, I get the messege:
For GTA:
SetDisplayMode Failed (DDERR_UNSUPPORTED)!
And
Error 303.502
Display Error: Selected video mode not supported (I havent searched for this yet)

For GTA2:
"Failed to set fullscreen viewmode: 2"

Now Ive never played through steam, so Im thinking its probably a compatibility issue between that and my computer?
Ive had a little read around and some say drivers, others are saying its the fact the computer is too new (hardware and software) others are saying its because Im running 64bit.

Help?

EDIT: Found the issue, I was running @1080, but when I put the res down to where it will play, it jumps like made.
