Hello,

I last use my steam account in 2010 when i got rid of my PC

I have recently bought another pc but when setting up my steam account it says that username / password is wrong but i recieve email when i clicked "forgot password"

My account name / password is correct but still says login is wrong?

i have created a support ticket on steam but not had a reply since 23.10.2015 when i created it?

Any help would be appreciated!

Regards

Ive had a look on there forums but people are saying they have been waiting over 30+ days for a responce from them?

so wondered if anyone else has come across this and had a good way of resolving the issue?

Something is not right if you can't log in with the details. And steam are infamous for there absolutely horrendous customer service. A reseller from g2play once tried to steal my account by sending steam a bunch of cd keys I have bought from them etc every time I contacted steam about it I had to wait at least 14 day but sometimes as much as 60

Could they of put it on lock as it hasnt been used in a long time? and i cant remember how i paid for them lol so im unsure if i can get bank statements from 5years ago can you?

ill just have to wait a little longer and see what they say, as i have a lot of games on there

I lost my details once 7-8 yrs ago and was asked to send in a photocopy of the Valve game license key that I opened the Steam account with.

Luckily I had that.

I love Steam however these stories of them not getting back to their customers is pretty scandalous really.

EA have live chat right? I see people posting "bad" transcripts of their experiences but at least they are available to speak to.

ill have to see if i still have the email for this, it's a pain as i really wanna start playing games again without setting up a new account as ill loose all my games

I havnt got that email but i do have a email with a steam guard account code that they last sent me?
