Steam How long for a game to launch?

Bought COH - Opposing Fronts - it's taking ages to launch after downloading all the files. How long is usual to get a game going?

As it's the first time it's being run then it may take a while longer than normal. Usually my games take around 5 seconds at most, maybe a bit longer after just being updated.

you can use steams in built defrager and there's a defrager somewhere for the individual game archives*. But yeah first run is normally the slowest.
