Steam improvements: Feature request

I've asked for a STEAM feature improvement on the steam forums (literally would take a dev 30 seconds to change)

Microsoft are rolling out the ability to install games to any folder if that helps.

Always thought it was a MS problem that games were only installed to "protected" folders.

any folder is fine but its still protected so you cannot navigate to the exe anyway.

My understanding is with the new update, the folders are not protected.

That's good to know, a friend was playing Subnautica on GP and it looked like mods weren't a thing which was a shame.
@smogsy I'm couldn't see any place to upvote it, comment, quote, award with steam points or report were the only options available to me
