Hi guys,

Under the 'steam rules' or whatever, am I aloud to play my games in more one place? Eg. I'm on my laptop now and I want to play, is it alright to then play at home later on my desktop? I'm not going to get kicked off of steam or anything :( I wouldn't be playing the same game/s simultaneously or anything...

Thanks.

Playing the game later isn't playing it simultaneously (That would be playing the same game on the laptop and desktop at the same time).

But you can play on your laptop, and then later play on your PC perfectly fine.

I don't think you're allowed to play on the same account on more than one pc simultaneously (if its even possible), what you've described is fine.

You can put the other machines into offline modes and play on those as well, hell you can even use lan that way on most games.

I have it installed on my desktop and a couple of laptops. If you're logged in on your account on say the destop and log in on one of the others it just boots you off on the desktop. pc.

It might ask you to verify the machine when you log in on another for the first time. You just get an email with a code.
