Steam Insurgency help ?

whats happened to this game ? everytime I try play it comes up with an error message reading missing executable ? ive re-installed twice, never done it before it updated itself , at one point it wouldn't even do that

anyone have any idea what this could be ?

Loads fine for me, have you verified the game cache?

yeah I have done that ... its Norton anti virus its detecting the exe file as a Trojan ? what the hell can I do about that ? tried to disable it with the firewall but it just deletes it straight away

Norton is crap mate, get rid of that bloated rubbish and use a free alternative.

Just add insurgency to the exclusions list.
It's a false positive there is a post from the devs on steam about it.

this game came up with a false positive every time it updated even with f-secure.

Just add to exclusions as ^^ said and your jolly
