Steam Keys on Origin.

Out of sheer curiosity I popped my steam key for Crysis 2 into origin, and what do you know, it activated.

Tried a couple of others, C&C 4 worked, Batman Arkham City didn't, then I gave up.

I have no Idea why this might be useful, but you never can tell.
 
I believe some games are being auto transferred to Origin using the same process, it seems like you can do it yourself also using the steam keys :)

I've noticed its auto added Medal of Honour out of no-where, which I have on Steam.
 
Yeah I noticed this the other day, I bought Dead Space 2 on Steam in the sale, and somehow it's now also appeared in Origin.

its if your email address is the same one registred to any ea games
 
E.A keys activate on Origin...

SHOCKER :eek:

It is no different to typing a retail E.A key into Origin and it working, E.A games purchased from anywhere have activated prior to Origin on the E.A Downloader service for a while now.

I read the title and thought E.A were dishing out Steam keys to Origin users. Op fails.

If only my Crysis 2 Origin key worked in Steam, now that would be worth talking about. Or even BF3...imagine that!

But, this dosent happen so Origin can go jump off a cliff...
