Steam Marketplace selling

I have never done this, or taken any interest in my steam "inventory" outside gifted games. I have about 150 trading cards, four booster packs, a few items for PUBG and I was wondering what the best way to 'sell' them was to get a couple of quid in my steam wallet? Should I convert to gems or just sell? Would you sell at the 'starting price' or a couple of pence more? Is there a way to bulk sell?

I have a couple of foil cards but most (I have 150 or so) have a starting price of about 7 or 8p.

Also is the starting price the buyer's fee or what I actually receive? Christ how bloody greedy is steam taking a cut on their bloody trading cards! 20%!

I can never be bothered, I have that much stuff I could sell for just a few pence. It's just not worth my time.

just sell them, when you put them up for sale the lowest number is how much you receive. i generally put them up for 1-2p above the current price. they wont sell instantly but will go eventually, i've earned about £100 from the Market place selling cards and such. (i got a rare HL2 background when i made a badge) i sold it for £30 alone, but that was at the start of the system. most now days is £1-2

Gems are waste for making cash.

just so you know your steam lvl and completed badges dictates if you receive booster packs

from memory every 10 lvls increasing your drop rate + every badge you complete allows you to earn booster packs for that game randomly.

but if you just want a quick flip put them up for current price.

Seeing as steam gave you those cards for free, them taking 20% is fine by me.

Dont convert to gems if you have no interest.

Sell everything on the steam market. I price everything at the "last sold at" price for fast sales. Items are sold cheapest first.

To get money out start an MM thread offering to buy steam items for ~20% off.

only thing i ever bothered selling was a cs:go knife. It paid for a steamlink and controller bundle
