As Steam Next Fest has started today with a whole big bunch of demo's , I thought it might be useful if we had a recommendations thread so that people could list any demos that they've tried this week and feel are worth recommending.
So far for me :
Rotwood - Co-opable rogue-like from Klei
Lightyear Frontier - Another crafter-builder game (seems to be a multitude of those lately) , this time where you have a big mech which has all your crafting tools as attachments. Extremely colourful and I actually find the sometimes needing to be in the Mech and sometimes needing to be on foot sort of reminiscent of Subnautica's Seamoth/Scuba feeling.
Pacific Drive - Another sort of crafter-resource type of thing, this time where you have a "station wagon" that you drive around in and upgrade like a mobile base.
EDIT : adding Serum to this list, its a bit janky and the performance isnt great but if they can iron that out the game itself seemed pretty decent and I was invested in what was going on and wanted to see more of the game.
