Steam not connecting.

Yeah some of us were just playing dungeon defenders and all of a sudden we all of get kicked out the game and now have no connection to steam.

My community is down, but steam itself is still up.

mine still down....well half anyway
steam store works but it still says no connection at bottom

Same say no connection but games are still updating and downloading fine.

only thing not working is community.

As for the issue, I think it's Cloud-related, judging by the rror message I got when I tried shutting down.

We'll be updating some of the Steam servers today around 1100 PST (GMT-0800) -- tho maybe a bit earlier than that. Chat, game lobbies, and the community web site will be affected. Content downloads and game play should not be affected. We'll keep the prop as short as possible, but are monitoring a couple of issues which might delay our return to up time. We appreciate your patience!

this is happening now, a little bit earlier than the 1100 PST target.
