Steam now available for iOS & Android

Buy Steam games on the move? Never miss out on a deal EVER AGAIN! Why do you do these things to us, whhhyyyyyyyyy? My bank balance will never be the same again.

Oh dear.

I can see my bank account taking a right hammering if I can browse and buy Steam games whilst I'm on the khazi!

You guys do realise you can buy games on the move now don't you? Just go to the website

Well, yeah, but I'm much more likely to browse through my installed apps, see Steam, and fire that up than deliberately browse to the website via my browser.

So - all in all, a good marketing move by Valve if I'm anything to go by! ;)

I'm mainly wanting it for the Steam chat, so I can talk to Steam mates without having to be signed in at home.

I wonder if they will integrate trading sometime.

Title is a little misleading, the apps are out but you can't use them unless you have a beta invite.

If you download the app and try to login it adds you to the 'wanting an invite list' so you may get invited at some point.

Same as Amazon app :p Navigating websites on phones = still not optimal. clicking a line between two other lines that all are links, works on an ipad but not so easy on a phone.

Apps with 2-3 clicks on bigger icons to buy stuff = ease of use

When you login using the app it adds your account to the list of people wanting an invite, so it's worth downloading it and logging in so your name is put forward.

Awhhh yeahhhh.

The chat is a bit laggy on 3G, maybe because of my area though. Works really well otherwise. :)
