When I record using OBS the Steam overlay shows even though I have the option un-ticked.
After a little research I found out it is OBS clashing with Razer Synapse. So once Synapse is closed and OBS and Steam are restarted; OBS will record my gameplay without capturing the Steam overlay - very happy.
Now the issue is because Synapse is closed, the mapped buttons on my Razer mouse revert to default and thus useless for my needs.
Any suggestions? I've used Nvidia shadowplay to record but the quality I need just isn't there for me.
