Steam/Orange Box Gift

Strange one..

I bought orange box for TF2 and portal and as i already have HL2, Ep1 and Ep2 and CSS i have a couple of mates that dont have a great deal of cash so i am giving them the bits i am surplus... Anyway one already has HL:2 and CSS so was goign to give him Ep1&2 and my other mate HL2 with CSS. Now the problem is that its showing that i have HL2, Ep1 and a Guest pass of TF2 but no Ep2 to give as a gift... Any idea why?
 
I made the same mistake of not reading the FAQ about gifts before I bought it as well. When you buy the orange box you only get hl2 and ep1 as a gift, ep2 does not qualify when you buy the orange box.

I made a bigger mistake. I bought the orange box a while back and then when the valve complete collection went on special offer at christmas i bought that for the same steam account and i was surprised to see that i only got hl2 and ep1. Turns out i should have read the FAQ and now i'm down a copy of ep2, tf2 and portal :( It's only the hl games that can be gifted and ep2 only qualifies when someone buys the hl2 episode pack.
 
As said, you can only gift duplicate copies of HL2 and Episode 1, and only when buying the Orange box. :) Other combinations of buying a game, then buying it again don't allow you to gift them, unless you specifically buy it as a gift.

All the other games included were introduced with the Orange Box.
