Steam os small form console

I'm toying with the idea of building a small form factor pc with steam os just for playing on the living room tv

Anyone done this
Thinking of an amd system with a 5600x with 32gigs and a 7700xt this will be purely for gaming

Or is it just not worth the effort I don't own an Xbox or ps5

given the cost of pc gaming these days, what is it you are hoping to play on your TV that is not available on the XBox or PS5?

Pc games i already own basically all the games I play are all on Steam anyway that's my way of thinking I've not priced it up or is there a way I can stream form my pc to the tv
