Anyway back on topic, yes i would highly recommand painkiller it's a really good mindless blaster :D

Maybe you're better off not getting it on Steam. It's safer to avoid Steam, as I found out the hard way (admittedly all the games I had on my account were Steam only).

Fact*

get so fed up sometimes when I'm unable to login to steam, or it decides that my games are not installed/loaded etc
steam SOUNDS like a good idea, but its run by monkies.

*may not be a fact.

Painkiller was awesome, a real throwback to the older "monster waves" FPS's, like Doom and Rise of the Triad. The bosses were just fantastic also!

Sorry but, you have Jade Goodie as your signature. You fail to see the irony here? You also seem to be the only one making a fuss over it.

Got Painkiller when it first came out, seems like ages ago now.

Loved the physics engine and used the stake gun as much as possible (also one of the required elements on one of the levels).

One small thing is that i still havent completed it, lol :D

Have the save game backed up for when i reinstall, am right at the end of the game but can't do the final boss.

Right pain, still great nonetheless, especially with all the submissions to complete on the different levels

I've found out it's really not very secure at all. I've had my account hacked and then banned. Steam support probably won't reenable my account either. Plus they take about a week to reply to each message.

how did you get it hacked?
I've not had that problem yet but tbh I think its shaky ground them denighing you accsess to aplications/software you purchased for any reason.

I have no idea. Just one day I tried to log in to Steam and it said my account was disabled. I contacted Steam support and they said it was "logged using a hacked cybercafe account", and that it won't be re-enabled. I don't really know what they're talking about. I've left a whole bunch of messages about exactly when and where I've used Steam and asking them what exactly they mean by a hacked cybercafe account, but Steam support takes so long I haven't had a reply yet.

Cus I dont like his sig and find it irritating?...............yea well werid

LOL

Agree on mine being crap too, but I can take that criticism :)

Positvely the absolutely worst game I have played in a long time.

The action is repetitive and the physics get old really fast.

There are much better FPS's out there.

I liked the game, got through the expansion as well. It reminds me of serious sam but horror instead of whatever that was lol.

Painkiller on steam raises up the main issue I have with that content delivery service tho, you can't sell the game on once you are done with it.
