Steam Password Reset Email??

Just received what looks like a proper password reset email from Valve with the usual code to be entered into the client to reset password.

Trouble is I haven't requested it and haven't used Steam for over a week.

Will it be safe for me to use the code in the client and does this mean that somebody has tried to hack my account perhaps?

I had one a few days ago. Ignored it as didn't request it and everything is fine.

Just change your password just in case. You only get that email if you log on with your user name and password but your on a different ip/computer.

Not true. Someone probably entered his username by mistake.

Nothing has been compromised.

Thought you only go through steam guard if you actually log on?

Thanks for the input guys. I just installed the Steam App on my mobile and logged in using Steam Guard to that, everything went okay. I guess somebody was just fishing for my username ...
