Steam password

Hi, I received an email asking me to change my steam password as someone had tried to gain access.

This was obviously a scam but as I have two accounts on steam I notice I'm using the same password on both, where do you change the password?

I can't seem to locate it anywhere.

Why the 2 steam accounts anyway?

Surely if you just turned on steam guard there would be minimal risk?

Or if thats still too risky you minimise the risk even more you could have steam guard connected to a google account + an authenticator app on a phone.

Steam guard wasn't always around in the early days.

Steam guard turned on automatically for me. I could turn it off I suppose, but it doesn't exactly seem like the worst thing.

Steam is having poblems.

Mine just enabled itself and I cannot log into Steam - lol.

EDIT:

Managed to log in but cannot disable Steam guard, unable to process my request.

some german kid hacked into my account whilst i was on holiday, stupidly he tried to buy games with his own debit card as i dont keep any of my card details on there. Steam support were really swift and helpful with returning my account.
