Steam Personal Info Disclosure 25th Dec 2015

We've been discussing this in the Winter Sale thread, but people might not have noticed that - so I'm posting this here just so you're aware.

Steam has been serving incorrect web pages tonight, so you'll see info from the wrong account - username, paypal, balance, god know what else. Chances are someone's seen your account too.

Head to /r/steam for more info, I'm not planning on updating this post.

apparently it's nothing to worry about, just a massive glitch. my steam store ended up in russian and linked me to a russian profile, but aside from that nothing is unsafe apparently.

they just exposed everyones personal details and account history to randoms

hopefully the EU/ICO will fine them into bankruptcy for this!

Its taken them long enough to respond and they still haven't taken their servers down

I can't get into my profile now, guess they've taken the servers offline now. Considering i have my paypal directly connected to my steam i'm not impressed! Going to remove it through paypal now.

check reddit, I logged in earlier and saw some bloke in Toronto's details, name, address, card digits, balance, purchase history, email address etc.
