** Steam: Portal free to play until 24th May **

Got to one bit now (level 9?) that makes the game lag like crazy (too much going on in the level, I suspect). And they expect me to perform some kind of amazing feat of dexterity with my mouse whilst playing at like 5 FPS :p

Suffice to say, I'll wait for Portal 2 :p

If anyone is considering Prelude, let me just say: this game is about reactions and manual dexterity, not problem solving. It's not traditional Portal at all.

Indeed, don't have a clue how to get past lvl8 (i think) where you have the multi levelled area with falling ceilings and bots. I mean i can see how its done, just not with the bots raping you immediately.

Sounds like the 3d version of japanese shooters - learn a very specific sequence of moves with literally no room for deviation.

That's a recurring theme. I've got to level 18 now, and one of the previous levels made me lol :p

A two-level room. Four bots on the lower level, one in each corner, facing inwards. A mesh screen divides the upper and lower sections of the room, directly above the bots, which you fall onto when entering the room.

The bots then proceed to gun you down through the mesh screen which they can shoot through :p

Lol, think i'll not bother then. I don't particularly want to have to restart the level 100 times because i wasn't quite fast/accurate enough. Just sounds like a recipe for frustration.

Shame i'll miss out on the chat :p
