STEAM PROBLEM!!!! ORANGE BOX - WRONG REGION (I BOUGHT IT FROM THE UK)

I just logged into STEAM and Team Fortress 2 and Portal have been removed from my installed list. It gives a message they are from the wrong region!

I bought the retail Orannge box from the UK and have always lived in the UK. Does anyone know whey after all this time it has suddenly been disabled? I guess this is a mistake with the keys but I'm no sure how to sort it.

I tried contacting them but when I try to log in it doesnt recognise my username and password!!!

This is the first time I have had a problem with Steam but it has left me helpless at knowing waht to do

Any advise?

Check your region settings in steam under 'settings>downloads'

You mean Steam support ? What part of this is hard to understand ?

If you have not yet created a unique Steam Support account for the Steam Support system, you can do so by clicking Create Account button below. Your Steam Support account is a separate account from your Steam or Forum account. It does not exist by default. Please do not attempt to enter your Steam account information for the Steam Support system, as it will not work.

Thanks for the replies, I checked the settings and it says United Kingdom

Its really strange as both Portal and TF2 are now back showing in my installed list, the weird thing is when I try to launch TF" it comes up with a message to say "your steam ticket has expired" and then comes up with a log in screen, I enter my password and the dialogue box diasapears buth nothing happens.

I just purchased the Overlord pack for £6.25 and when I try to install the game it gives the same message "your steam ticket has expired" and doesnt install. I am wondering if there is a problem with the steam servers

I'll try logging in later on to see if there's any difference

Thanks Faugs, didnt realise they were seperate accounts. Going to leave it a couple of hours in case its a server problem as the gaes are now for some reason back in my installed games section

You tried exiting Steam and deleting the blob file in the Steam folder?
