Steam Problem

Right, I reinstalled Steam the other day after a fresh format, selected to download Half Life 2 and Episode 1, downloaded them both at good speeds.

But now it says 'updating 0%' on both of them and won't me play either .

They just won't update at all, if I restart Steam it'll go on 1kb/s for about 2 seconds then go right away.

I've verified the files and defragged them, which made no diifference.

Any ideas?

Been doing that, they sometimes get like 5-10kb/s then gradually drop down to nothing .

This is very annoying.

I ended up deleting them both from my hard drive and reinstalling from the DVD's, it went perfectly using them and they both updated fine.

I'll keep that ClientRegistry.blob file in mind for next time, Thanks.
