Steam problem

I logged in earlier, went to check out some sale stuff, then went to news page and it said something about an client update. Clicked on it to update it, closed Steam, re-opened it and now it doesn't recognise my steam account name, can't log in at all.

Anyone know why or what has happened ??!?

Exactly the same here. Obviously server issues or some other problem. Hopefully it'll be a short wait.

Raised a ticket now, been trying on all different pages of steam log in, web, client etc and nothing works, yet before the update it worked fine. Grrrrr

Downloaded Steam again, repaired and now logged in. I think the latest client update must have borked. Should have tried this ages ago lol
