Steam profiles and level reached...

Don't mean to go off-topic here but does anyone know how to level their account? I'm missing badges from the Steam summer sale thing and i'm wondering if I could borrow someone's cards to get the Achivement/Badge and then give them back.

No you can't as once you craft the badge the cards are gone, you can only trade, buy of the Steam Market for them..

I sold a few cards to make a few quid to then level up a bit quicker, I thought level 14 was fairly good, but level 180+ is just insane.

Many of the cards sell for pennies. If you can make a few quid selling a few cards you don't want, or sell duplicates then you might make enough to then buy the cards you need to craft the summer sale badge..

I've never had a booster pack. I swear they simply do not exist.. !!

You use the cards to craft the badge, so they are gone once done.

I got two foil cards, sold them both for something like 99p, made a few quid, allowed me to buy the few missing ones and craft the steam summer sale badge for free..

If you have foil cards, sell those maybe, they seem to sell quicker I found.

Um, that's 800 games played then.

I listed his games in order of hours played, and it took to nearly the 130th game before reaching one he had played less than 10 hours. In his top 10 games combined, he has nearly 3,000 hours played.

So, I don't think it's fair to say he has barely played any of them. :)

They pretty much are. When they first were dropping (mostly during the beta), saw some selling for around £50 each :eek:
Think the prices have mostly dropped to less that £1 now though.
