Well, yes we do expect exactly that, if person A plays HL2, then person B should be able to play CSS, just as with physical copies, you don't see retail games like CoD4 and BF2 complaining, you can play both at once...

Just set steam to offline mode tbh at least that allows you to play 2 sp games at once ( or 1 sp and 1 mp game)...

Surely you don't expect 1 household to buy a game 4-5 times just because they have 6 kids ? The advantage of brothers and sisters is you can use their games :). You don't buy a music cd or a film more than once either do you, for your kids or wife or gf or whatever ?

Doesn't mean I wouldn't do it in the case of family...

I'm not allowed to drink in public, to speed, to use my mobile phone in school, to talk during lessons, to lend out games to mates so they can copy it for themselves, etc... Doesn't stop me tho if I want something...
