Hey all, just a general question that I wanted a quick answer to.

Is it okay to install and play Steam on my laptop as well as my desktop? I can't see them being able to tell as long as I don't log in on both at once, but I want to be sure.

Thanks. :)

Of course. You can use steam on whatever computer you want and install the games wherever you want too.

Have mine installed on my pc at home, and on my brothers pc at his house, so yeah it's fine.

You can't be logged in twice to the same account though :)

OK - this might be pushing it slightly, but can you play one game "offline" on the laptop and a different game "online" on the PC ?

I set one as 'offline' on my laptop, where the gf can play plants vs zombies etc, whilst I'm online playing TF2

shouldn't really do it, but it works fine

I don't know. You paid for both games. Your not really doing anything wrong are you ?

Technically you purchase the license for one copy of the game, so if you were to be playing the same game on two computers at once, that would be a breach of the agreement. In terms of playing different games on different computers at the same time, I fail to see why that's a problem. This is fairly academic anyways, since I would be amazed if any company decided to leave hardcore pirates alone and instead focus on the small percentage who have purchased a game and simply choose to share it within the confines of their own home.
